Holy Angels Accelerated Reader
The Accelerated Reader (AR) program is an optional reading program designed to get students excited about reading. Even "pre-readers" can participate. Simply read a book from the AR quiz list and come to the Holy Angels computer lab to take a reading comprehension test on that book. (If a book was read to a child, then one of the parent volunteers in the computer lab will read the AR quiz to him/her.) Each book is worth a certain number of points. Computer lab hours for Accelerated Reader for the 2007-08 School Year are:
- Tuesday mornings before school (7:30-7:50 a.m.)
- Tuesday and Wednesday after school (2:30-3:00 p.m.)
