Summer Reading for St. Francis High School 2007-2008 School Year

In-coming 9th graders (honors included):
Red Sea has been eliminated as a summer reading book for incoming ninth grade students.

Touching Spirit Bear by Ben Mikaelsen

There will be quizzes at the beginning of the school year to ensure completion of the required reading and measure reading comprehension.  
 
In-coming 10th graders: 

Classical Literature and Composition Course:

Marley and Me by John Grogan

Quiz will commence on the second day of school.  Themes and ideas will be reflected upon throughout the year.
